As a young man growing up without my father in the home, I had  potential but no direction. I struggled to realize that potential on my own. There were many occasions where I could have given up on myself altogether but gratefully, there was a group of men and women that surrounded me. Coach Tim was my little league coach and mentor who brought me into his life at a critical time in my life and loved me like his son.

He helped me make key decisions that have shaped my life to this day. There were many people throughout my adolescence that loved me and told me the truth which helped me to stay the course and this is why I created GameBreakers Academy. 

 GameBreakers Academy exists to be a community that promotes positive change and helps young people defy expectations. The young people we focus on are like I was: full of powerful potential,  but in dire need of guidance. They may lack resources, but within the community they can find what they need.

 These powerful young women and men will grow spiritually into people that God wants them to be by developing standards, values, and principles that guide their lives. 

They will improve educationally and athletically because we will provide tools, experiences and consistent tutoring to help them achieve their goals. 

As a mentor and coach, I am committed to mentoring because I want them to have a chance to reach their goals and live out their God given calling. Our desire is for our young people to reach as far and as high as they can go while GameBreakers Academy provides resources, support, and direction along the way. We want them to defy expectations and build what can’t be taken away by anyone or anything.
